    Job summary

    Post: Medical Secretary

    Location: Mountcroft Resource Centre, Fleetwood

    Band: 4

    Salary: £25,147-£27,596

    Hours / Pattern of work: hours over days, Wednesday afternoon and all day Thursday and Friday.

    Type of contract: Permanent

    Applications are invited for an experienced B4 Medical Secretary to provide secretarial and administration support to the Community Mental Health Team Consultant and Medics at Mountcroft Resource Centre at Fleetwood and the successful applicant will be offered full on the job training. You will need advanced word processing and audio typing skills. You will need experience of audio and some live typing if required and previous Secretarial experience. The post holder will coordinate their activities with other members of the secretarial team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. The successful applicants will require a flexible approach and the ability to work across other sites if required for the needs of the service.

    Main duties of the job

    This post is subject to standard DBS Disclosure and the successful applicant will be required to pay for their DBS check.
