Description

Responsible for the quality inspection and testing of all products manufactured and to support both internal quality hold and external customer complaint investigations.

Please Note:
This role attracts a 30% shift allowance.
Proactively maintain the working area in a clean and safely condition – including machinery, floors, ancillary equipment, storage and administrative areas
Be accountable for the enforcement of quality standards via inspection and testing.

You are also required to taken containment action where required and participate or own the investigation of quality issues which may arise.

Perform inspection of in process and completed work and release to progress or reject accordingly and subsequently use the Quality Management System to creation of Nonconformance reports (NCR) and work with production teams, in containment, investigate and verify corrective action of suspect products.

Provide training and support for other colleagues.
Deliver daily quality reporting and update information at departmental DSUM or to other stakeholders as required.

Embrace behavioural based safety and environmental adherence, focus on "see it, sort it, report it" methodology to deal with immediate safety concerns and proactively take ownership of personal safety and for the safety of colleagues.

Prioritize the Quality of process to ensure in specification, customer compliant product.

Actively participate in the root cause analysis and investigation or any quality concerns, new production introduction or opportunities for improvement.

Adhere to all procedures and specifications to ensure highest quality and to actively reduce waste
Contribute to the implementation STAR2025 Strategy in collaboration with your Section Leader to drive improvement in all facets of the department and site
