DevOps Engineer
**Location: Manchester


Salary:
£ £75.000**
Positions available from Junior Level up to Senior/ Tech Lead Levels

Overview


Are you passionate about working with cutting-edge technology and have a knack for finding innovative solutions to complex challenges? Our Client is a cutting-edge Cyber Security firm and they are looking for DevOps Engineers, to be a part of a team thathelps keep the UK safe.


About you
The successful DevOps Engineer will have many of the following:

  • Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience working in a similar DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure role
  • An appreciation of Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tooling
  • Scripting abilities with languages such as Shell, Bash, or Python etc
  • A working knowledge of Linux, networking, routing & firewalls etc
  • Great communication and problemsolving skills, and a desire to learn new technologies
  • Working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc)
It would be great if you also had experience in some of these, but if not we'll help you with them:

  • Configuration Management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible etc
  • Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Cloud formation
  • Docker, and container runtime platforms such as Kubernetes, Openshift or Marathon / Mesos etc

Only those with the permanent and unrestricted right to live and work in the UK will be consideredfor this role and must have or undergo Government SC clearance prior to starting
