:DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES Geneva, New York Supervises:
Biomed Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, Carpenter, Lead Carpenter, Lead Mech Electrician, Lead Mechanic, Mech II Groundskeeper, Mechanic II, PainterEducation:
Minimum:
BS degree or an AS degree with a minimum of 5 years director experience
Preferred:
MS DegreeLicense:
NYS Driver's license clear of violations per FLH PolicyCertifications:

CHFM highly desirableExperience:
Minimum:
3 years of Healthcare Facilities Management experience. Familiarity with health care regulatory standards and applicable building codes. Proven positive leadership outcomes based on previous supervisory/management experience.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity, multi-cultural health system.
Ability to facilitate project management, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Familiarity with JCAHO, NYSDOH and related regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, power pointPreferred:
Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point

ResponsibilitySummary:
Director of Facilities Management is responsible for the operation, maintenance, renovation and code compliance of all facilities and provides guidance and supervision of the Maintenance, Construction, Biomedical Service, and Contract Management departments.
