The Opportunity

Finatal is partnered with a leading facilities management business backed by private equity, operating across the UK, in their search for a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic financial leader to join a fast-paced and growing organization poised for expansion through mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance function, providing strategic direction and oversight to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Partner with the dynamic executive team to drive business growth initiatives, including M&A opportunities, by providing financial insights and analysis.
• Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes to support the company's growth objectives and enhance profitability.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and advisors, to ensure compliance and facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Drive operational efficiency and performance improvements through data-driven analysis and continuous process optimization.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified preferable
• Proven track record of success as a CFO in a professional services or related industry, preferably within a private equity-backed environment.
• Experience scaling and ultimately exiting a private equity-backed business would be highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, including deal structuring, due diligence, and integration.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Operational and commercial mindset, capable of balancing strategic financial management with day-to-day operational demands.
