    Digital technologies are an important part of a student's experience at St Francis Xavier College, and over the past three years we have been implementing a digital innovation strategy to incorporate technology into teaching and learning in order to raise student engagement, improve outcomes and provide learners with the digital skills necessary to enter a world of work where technology and innovation are constantly evolving.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Deputy SENDco to join our ALS (Additional Learning Support) Department. The successful candidate should have specialist teaching experience with SEND students.

    You will be supporting the Head of ALS and a team of LSAs in our newly refurbished and well-equipped department which has recently been OFSTED rated as Outstanding in provision for learners with High Needs.

    You will be providing academic and pastoral support to SEND students, participating in Annual Reviews, EHCP consultations, assessing for access arrangements and contributing to the planning and progression of the ALS department including enrichment and SEMH development.

    This is a full time, permanent role.

    The salary will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges scale NJC scale (£35,125 - £51,758) plus Responsibility Allowance of (1,233 - £2,470) depending on experience, inclusive of Inner London Weighting.
