Opportunity is around the corner at Pertemps in Lincoln We have a brand-new position available for a hardworking and experienced Welder to join an already successful team.

Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques such as MIG and stick welding according to blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.

Interpret and comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.
Prepare welding surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and degreasing to ensure proper adhesion and quality of welds.
Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate welding tools, gas, and wire, and adjusting settings for optimal welding performance.
Conduct visual inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition and comply with safety standards.

Document work performed, including recording welding parameters, materials used, and any issues encountered during fabrication.
Adhere to established deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project schedules and production targets.
Monday to Friday working 3 shifts on a rotational basis.

Background and experience in welding or fabrication
MIG / TIG Welding experience
