Mobile Service Engineer

Salary:
£33,500.00 plus Veolia benefits


Location:
Mobile role covering the Northamptonshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, normal hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

What will you be doing?

  • Carry out successful CHP engine servicing, within agreed timescales.
  • Ability to fault find and diagnose issues with engine reliability and performancewith successful rectification and return to service of the unit.
  • Be conversant with the requirements of engine manufacturers' servicing schedules.
  • Be skilled in the use of electrical drawings and parts manuals.
  • Assist Customer Account Manager and Operational Team Leaders on all aspects of CHP maintenance and overhauls as requested.
  • Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Compliance with all Veolia policies and procedures.

What are we looking for?

  • Be conversant with the use of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment required to carry out CHP servicing and repairs
  • Have qualifications and or experience in gas engine maintenance and the ability and desire to be trained by engine manufacturers as required
  • Have sound knowledge in engineering practices and be conversant with the operation ofCHP plant
  • Be trained on Gas safe or willing to undertake training.
  • You will ideally have a sound understanding of electrical fault finding and rectification
  • Full Driving licence
