    Description

    Lark View Care Home is looking to recruit a Team Leader (NVQ Level 3)

    Our brand-new, luxury 64-bed care facility is on the outskirts of Canterbury, Kent, offering high-quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care.

    Team Leader Contract
    This a nightshift position.

    14.00 per hour

    Contracted to 42-hours per week.

    Pension.

    5.6 weeks annual leave.

    DBS.

    Uniform provided.

    Onsite parking.

    Team Leader Will Be

    A caring and motivated person.

    Experienced supporting older people, ideally including those living with a dementia.

    Confident and experienced to lead a care team and act as champion for the wellbeing of residents.

    Able to prepare, review and understand a care plan.

    Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

    Your key responsibilities will include

    Providing excellent care and support to residents.

    Ensuring high standards are always maintained.

    Supervising, leading and motivating all care assistants for the team to function efficiently.

    Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs.

    Administering medication as instructed.

    Monitoring, responding, and reporting appropriately on the wellbeing of the residents and able to respond in a timely manner to any concerns.

    Supporting and working with care assistants.

    Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members.
