- Manufacture components from drawings with specific tolerances and agreed deadlines.
- Install software programs into machines through various methods, including keying from drawings and downloading from databases.
- Select appropriate materials based on drawings.
- Operate the machine to produce components.
- Maintain accurate records, including timesheets.
- Self-inspect components and report any errors to the line manager.
- Collaborate with other departments to prioritize component manufacturing.
- Completed apprenticeship or previous similar experience.
- CNC programming experience, ideally with Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak.
- Experience with a variety of materials and manufacturing protocols.
- Knowledge of feeds and speeds.
- Starting salary of £30,600+ for a 37-hour week.
- Regular overtime and weekend work available with bonuses.
- Working hours from 07:30-15:30 Monday-Friday.
