    Substantive Consultant in Ophthalmology (DRS-Opth/HQ02Z5GW) Scarborough, England

    Location:

    ~ Current GMC full registration & licence to practise, FRCOphth & entry on GMC specialist register for Ophthalmology or within 12 months of CCT date or expected Portfolio Pathway (previously CESR) approval (evidence of PP submission will be required at time of CV submission).
    ~ Ability to demonstrate independent clinical experience, knowledge and skill in Ophthalmology at Consultant level
    ~Ability to supervise postgraduate research
    ~ Experience of supervising SpRs/specialist trainees
    ~ Experience of teaching basic clinical skills to undergraduates

    The principle duty of this post is to provide a comprehensive clinical service to patients from and around York.

    To be responsible and managerially accountable for the reasonable and effective use of any Trust resources that you use and influence, and professionally accountable to the Medical Director.

    To comply with Trust policies and procedures where appropriate.
