- Ensuring the highest possible levels of care is maintained. By supporting/assisting and assessing people, when required, with washing, dressing, and all other aspects of daily living.
- Accurately recording observations in accordance with the persons conditions and needs
- Administering Medications
- Carrying out risk assessments
- Identifying and managing a person's nursing needs
- Providing quality end of life care
- Being able to carry out all core Nursing skills especially – Catheterisation, IV medication, syringe drivers, venepuncture and wound care.
- Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual). Providing attention when needed, whilst ensuring residents retain their comfort and dignity.
- Paying particular attention to assisting residents who have limited mobility, or physical difficulties, making the best use of aids provided.
- Providing quality end of life care
- Observing care planning needs for people and completing daily records as instructed and in line with the company's policies and procedures.
- Answering nurse call system and giving assistance as required.
