    Job Specification:

    Reporting to the Merchandising/Planning Manager you will be a key member of our fast paced Merchandising/Planning team. Your focus will be to maximise seasonal product categories across our brands in both stores and Ecom sites. Using analysis to drive potential through effective management of stock including product selection, ranging, promotion planning and end use strategies.

    Merchandising /Planning Manager.

    Job Accountabilities:

    • Analyse and present weekly performance including category mixes, best and worst sellers, during weekly trade call and summarise actions to drive to sales
    • Managing Markdown/Promotions -Using analysis identifying options to be included in Markdown/Promotion, summarising data and presenting to Merchandising/Planning Manager for sign off.
    • Support Open To Buy (OTB) process and lessons learnt documentation by producing and analysing historical range performance, option planning, Rate of Sale (ROS), Sell through, Margin and category sales mixes to influence next season buy plans to ensure that commercial outcomes are actioned.
    • Participation in Ecommerce and Outlet trade meetings - Providing and presenting Season to date analysis of Seasonal product
    • At branch level monitor the performance of stock, proposing necessary grading changes and inter branch transfers to maximise potential.
    • Responsible for ensuring purchase orders (POs) are accurately created and recorded on designated systems in line with key timelines.
    • Update range plans weekly providing feedback on opportunities and risks ensuring all seasons are active.
    • Provide and manage quarterly size curves review based on season to date performance - Highlighting any in season changes.
    • Responsible for creating and maintaining all store allocation plans in line with buy calendar/warehouse forecasts as directed by Merchandising/Planning Manager.
    • Own process for licensee buys liaising with all stakeholders.
    • Assist team in preparation and collating of Monday reports ahead of trade meetings.
    • Visit stores when required, analysing store reports prior and presenting feedback to the team.
    • Build strong relationships with within cross-functional teams and be the first point of contact for store managers.

    Person Specification:

    • Previous Merchandising experience in a fast-paced department.
    • Highly analytical with ability to identify problems and proactively solve issues.
    • Advanced Excel skills Pivot tables/Lookups/Retail formulae.
    • Good listening, verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly and concisely to an audience.
    • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
    • Highly organised and able to prioritise.
    • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Empathetic team player and comfortable working on their own.
    • Positive mental attitude and approach.
