Our client is recruiting for a Salford College Community Connector for the Wellbeing Matters Programme
The Wellbeing Matters Community Connectors are at the heart of our client's approach to social prescribing in Salford and they are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, resilient and person-centred individual to join their Wellbeing Matters team.

Salary:
£25,927 per annum - NJC 19
Hours:
Full-time - 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract:
Fixed term for initially 18 months
Employers Pension Contribution:5%
Holiday Entitlement:28 days plus statutory holidays
Working as part of the wider Wellbeing Matters' team across Salford you will support students in the Eccles and Worsley Colleges initially.
Your role will be to help these individuals to access local groups and activities, adopting a strengths-based approach in order to ultimately help them improve their health and wellbeing and (re)connect to their community.
Key Aspects of the Role:
- To work with students referred to Wellbeing Matters to help them achieve their goals, using person centred and strength based approaches
- To develop and maintain effective working relationships with relevant service providers to ensure effective and smooth onward referrals e.g. to other local voluntary, community or social enterprise organisations
- To identify local gaps in meeting a specific need and feed this information into delivery team meetings and to the neighbourhood volunteer development worker
- To manage a caseload of clients
