Overview

Our client is a firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors, based in the City of London.

Due to their current growth plans, they are looking for aProject Accountantto support their senior team with a wide range of accounting duties.

About the role

This role would suit a productive and efficientindividual, looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to the Head of Department, the Project Accountant will provide valuable support with accounting work, VAT returns and management accounting.


Key aspects of the role include:

  • Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and LLPs;
  • Preparing management accounts;
  • Submitting VAT returns;
  • Overseeing cashflow;
  • Assisting the Head of Department with ad hoc projects.
The ideal person

The position would someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who works well with others.

The person will be able to exercise judgement and consideration in respect of presentation of financial information and will have the ability to prioritise theirworkload to meet tight deadlines.
