We have a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join a well established law firm in Newcastle This is a permanent position with full-time hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00.
The role
- Processing bank reconciliations
- Posting credits and debits into both client and office accounts
- Processing BACS/CHAPS/FASTER PAYMENTS/INTERNATIONAL payments
- Inputting purchase ledger invoices
- Posting client bills
- Person specification
- Be an experienced Legal Cashier
- Have knowledge the Solicitors Accounts Rules;
- Have excellent IT skills including Outlook, Word, use of CMS, and Excel if possible;
- Have experience of Leap and Xero,
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Have a professional telephone manner;
- Be proactive and able to use their own initiative;
- Be very organised;
- Be able to work well under pressure;
- Have a willingness to adapt;
- Be someone who works well within a team environment;
- Be someone keen to learn new skills and be open to development and training;
- Have at least 5 GCSEs A-C grades including in English and Maths
