    Description

    A leadingchemical, energy and refinery advisory firm requires a Senior Analystto work across a range of energy and chemical sectors developingwritten analytical reports and forecast datasets.

    In addition, the Senior Analyst would work to build long termrelationships with our subscription clients, helping them to addressthe big sustainability questions of tomorrow.

    KeyResponsibilities

    · Research, analyse and develop ourmarket, economics and pricing analytics delivered through ourSubscriptions and Reports programs covering both conventional andrenewable energy, chemicals and materials.

    · Meetinternal quality goals and work within deadlines and budgets.

    · Support maintenance and development of our in-house datamodels covering global supply, demand, trade and pricing.

    · Identify and analyse key industry trends to enhance thequality of our analytics and insights to have a strong client focusthrough understanding of industry developments.

    · Conduct primary market research with key industry participants tounderstand and identify key market and technical dynamics.

    · Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts tounderstand key industry issues, develop market balances andprojections and develop pricing mechanisms.

    · Helpmaintain and extend the client's recognized brand leadership inindustry-focused commercial, techno-economic and strategic analysis.Typically, this is achieved through preparation of conference papers,and press articles as well as development of personal relationships.

    Skills and Experience:

    · Experience with the chemical/petrochemical industry, engineeringfirm, or industry consultancy.

    · Excellentpresentation and confident report writing skills.

    · Demonstrable leadership and management skills.

    · Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to convey findingsin a meaningful way.

    · Capable of developing andmaintaining strong client relationships.

    · ExcellentMS skills including advanced Excel skills.

    · Positiveand flexible attitude to work, particularly on new initiatives.

    · Diplomatic in meeting and working with people, goodcultural awareness.

    · Understanding and commitment toequal opportunities.

    · Capable of developing andmaintaining strong client relationships.

    Base salary band: £42-55,000 per year plus benefits
