- Report quality problems or findings to the chief inspector and follow up to ensure corrective action has been put in place.
- Check commercial off the shelf items conform to specifications required and the relevant documentation has been received.
- Working within a strict time and quality framework.
- Occasional travel to customer sites both in the UK and rest of the World with some unsocial working hours may be required.
- Previous experience in a quality/inspection role.
- Good computer and communication skills.
- Full Driving Licence to drive in the UK and abroad.
- Valid passport with no travel restrictions.

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Inspector to join their team based in Norwich on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role of quality control inspector is to ensure that all products meet the quality requirements of the customer and the organisation.
As a hands-on mechanical inspector, you will be responsible for executing general inspection functions both visual and dimensional, including correctly and properly using mechanical measuring devices and reporting results.
Locate datums on parts and measure dimensions such as angle, arc and radii using a combination of aids such as parallel bars, gauge blocks, v blocks, sine bars and precision measuring instruments such as a digital height gauge.
