JOB TITLE:
TECHNICAL ASSISTANT


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • The Technical Assistant will provide as a minimum support in areas of Planning, Job Tracking, Technical & Operational Queries, Change Requests, Risk Register administration, Requisition and Purchase Order control and general basic support to the team in respect of routine tasks.
  • Ensure Petrofac's 'Code of Conduct' and behaviors are adhered to and applied to all scopes of work.
  • Ensure the client's Intelligent Safety Rules and Behaviors are adhered to and applied to all scopes of work.
  • Additional responsibilities will be to assist the Client Squad Lead in the smooth day to day running of the onshore organization and providing support to the team as required including administrative tasks as required.
  • Supporting the Maintenance Delivery Team to ensure telecommunications work is planned and scheduled according to key deliverables as defined by client asset and engineering teams.
  • Supporting the Maintenance Delivery Leads to ensure planned and unplanned telecommunications backlog is minimized.
  • Understand and contribute to the Maintenance Team's performance against the contract key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to Petrofac and client Life Saving Rules
  • Promote HSEQ bestpractice in all activities and ensure compliance with business processes and objectives.
  • Provide a bestinclass, customers focused service in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
  • Focal Point for Gas Management
  • Reviewing daily nominations and deliveries
  • Analyzing anomaly data
  • Issuing weekly and Monthly reports to 3rd Parties
  • Weekly & Monthly Oil/NGL reporting.
  • Focal point for queries from 3rd Parties
  • Participate in team continuous improvement and SWOT sessions, delivering on agreed owned actions.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:


  • Good working knowledge and understanding of Maintenance and Operations, within an appropriate industry.
  • Occupational qualification or a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel
  • High level, numeracy, and IT skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Accurate and methodical record keeping & data analysis.
  • Strong time management
  • Willingness to learn & take on new tasks.
  • Team player and able to speak up and ask for help when needed.
  • Look to streamline processes were applicable once understanding of system is gained.
  • Comfortable dealing with 3rd Parties
