    Hours of Work:

    This role requires you to work to a unique shift pattern on a 2 weekly rota as follows:

    Week 1 - Monday (7.30am – 6.15pm), Tuesday (7.30am – 6.15pm), Wednesday (7.30am – 7.30pm), Thursday (7.30am – 7.30pm)

    Week 2 - Wednesday (7.30am – 7.30pm), Thursday (7.30am – 7.30pm), Friday (7.30am – 7.30pm), Saturday (6.00am – 4.00pm)

    Although these are the core hours this role will require you to commit to overtime to complete emergency repairs to allow production to run smoothly.

    Additional Information:

    The team have a wealth of mechanical and electrical experience between them and are led by an experienced, hardworking manager who has been at the helm for close to 9 years. This opportunity is available due to the up-and-coming retirement of one of the teams' engineers.     The successful candidate will be responsible daily maintenance on a wide range of machines and equipment within their manufacturing site. Machines that you are likely to be working on will include cutting, milling, turning and broaching as well as general machining.

    Day to day duties will include Mechanical fault finding and rectification, planned preventative maintenance activities and process improvements.

    To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 3 years in a Manufacturing/Engineering Maintenance background as well as holding a recognised City & Guilds, Mechanical ONC/HNC qualification and be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    Any electrical experience or qualification will be an advantage but not essential.
