Description

Acorn is recruiting for a Machine Operator, to be based in Honiton.
Working for the UK's leading manufacturer of super-absorbent and super soft sponge products for beauty and body-care.
Immediate start that is based on a full-time, temporary contract, going permanent after 12 weeks

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Pay Rate:
£10 per hour initially

Role responsibilities:

Preparation of product mixes
Monitoring and filling of castings on foaming machines
Extraction of the sponge castings from the moulds
Loading of the sponge castings to the Hydroextractors
Recording all relevant data required on the production sheets
Carrying out testing procedures for all product
Casting storage and drying
Monitoring of the effluent tank
