We're looking for a Van Driver (3.5t) who wants to make a difference

Working pattern (40-hour week):

8 hours per day, flexible between 4:00 am and 7:00 pm
Break: 1 hour

The role:

Supervising the safe loading of goods onto the vehicle.
Transporting, unloading and delivering goods in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage or loss.
Carrying out multidrop deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
Ensuring the load is correct and in keeping with customers orders.
Checking goodsoff with customers and obtaining signature and print.
Rectifying any customer concerns on delivery.
Working to the best routes within a local area, considering traffic congestion, delays and diversions in order to adhere to time and route schedules.
Driving within legal compliance, the UK Highway Code, and driving time limits.
Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle and ensuring avoidance of damage.
Complete daily inspection sheet regarding the vehicle.
Be aware of the vehicle inspection rota for servicing and MOT.

Your profile:

UK Driving Licence (E) Full, Clean, Category B
Driving in the UK (1 year)
Delivery driving in a 3.5T van (or a greatersized vehicle would be advantageous)
Geographical knowledge of the UK
Excellent driving skills and road etiquette (parking, safety, speed awareness, etc.)
Ability to work to diversions and revert back to original route
Strong planning and organisation
Thorough communication and reliability
Awareness of health importance, particularly during autonomous working time
Manual/physical dexterity
Interpersonal skills, particularly toward customers and colleagues
Able to remain calm and conducive in stressful situations
