    We are searching for an Implementation Analyst to join our vibrant team to help deliver the successful implementation of our Archer product: software which transfers complex health data in both a structured and unstructured format using a range of rules-based mappings and artificial intelligence.

    Reporting to the Head of Operations, this critical role will see you support the successful implementation of the Archer product for our client projects.

    Specifically you will oversee the comprehensive testing of the product and its implementation, the configuration of the system and other business analysis tasks that are required to support the sites and sponsors as they use Archer to manage their clinical studies.

    The successful candidate will need to demonstrate some or all of the following:

    • Genuine passion for the uses of technology to improve clinical trial delivery and patient outcomes.
    • Degree or equivalent experience in a field relevant to research and/or technology.
    • Experience working with major EDC and/or EHR systems.
    • Experience in software development testing.
    • A solid understanding of interoperability practices and data transfer.
    • The ability to manipulate basic code structures such as JSON.
    • Strong customer service skills and a polite professional manner.
    • Strong communication and writing skills.
    • Technically competent and able to use and discuss complex software packages with ease.
    • Experience with the use of project and development management systems such as Jira and Smartsheets.
    • The ability to work within a highly process-driven organisation under a Quality Management System.
    • An understanding of governance requirements such as ISO27001, GDPR and GaMP.
    • Proactive, self-starting approach to all tasks and fun to work with

    Job Responsibilities

    Configuration and Business Analysis:

    • Eliciting, Recording, Implementing and Testing EHR2EDC mappings and other configurations in the Archer tool.
    • Maintenance of site coding specifications
    • Ensuring clients and stakeholders are engaged and represented in the mapping process.
    • Gaining sign-off for mapping and other configurations from relevant stakeholders.
    • Working with the Head of Operations and Chief Product Officer to introduce processes and procedures that increase the speed and reduce the cost of system configuration.
    • Engaging with client and other stakeholders to ensure that clinical study processes are supported by the Archer tool, exploring options and approaches with stakeholders and keeping records of the process.
    • Demonstrating the use of the Archer tool in a clinical study context – this may involve a simple demonstration of product functionality or more formal training of users.
    • Feeding customer requirements into the Software Development Lifecycle

    Testing:

    • Creating and executing test plans for new Archer functions.
    • Maintaining, enhancing, and executing regression product test packs (for pre-existing functionality).
    • Creating and overseeing the execution of project and test plans for the implementation of Archer at a specific site or study implementation with a specific sponsor.
    • To maintain and enhance test assets (such as test patients and other test data).
    • To keep records of all test activities.
    • Liaising with the client, user, and other stakeholders in the conduct of this testing function.

    General:

    • Configuring, managing, and using tooling that supports the implementation and testing role.
    • Introduction and improvement of processes, techniques, and technologies that improve the efficiency and quality of the implementation work.
