- Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of generating sets and control systems.
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients, both onsite and remotely.
- Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions and exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports, inspection logs, and parts inventory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing generators and control systems, preferably in a field service capacity.
- Strong electrical background with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
- Knowledge of generator control panels, switchgear, and associated electrical components.
- Experience with diesel engines, alternators, voltage regulators, and automatic transfer switches.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as required and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
