    We have an exciting opportunity to join Sheffield City Council as a Project Officer in the Policy and Performance team.

    We are looking for someone:

  • Who will work alongside the Service Manager and other Senior Managers to work collaboratively across the Council and with its partners to assist in the development and review of the Commissioning, Inclusion and schools' data.
  • Able to carry out project management within the agreed frameworks.
  • To ensure effective monitoring, tracking and achievement of projects and responsibility for ensuring that project targets and milestones are achieved on time and in budget, whilst identifying at an early stage any issues and barriers to successful implementation of a project and working with partners to find solutions.
  • Can establish effective links with all relevant services to support in information sharing and provision of data.
  • Help to ensure that Sheffield both contributes to and gains maximum benefit from available data and information by sharing knowledge and learning through active participation in projects, networking events and benchmarking exercises.
  • The position will be working closely with commissioning colleagues around the National Programme - Building Successful Families for the majority of the time . A level of knowledge of the Building Successful Families Programme is not essential but is preferred.

    The position will initially be based in the Policy and Performance team, but the successful candidate will also work closely with commissioners and other colleagues across Integrated Commissioning.

    The role is full time (37 Hours) and the successful candidate will be expected to work both between in the office and hybrid working.
