Job Summary:

As a School Data Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing accurate and up-to-date data within our educational institution.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity and security of student information and academic records. The role requires proficiency in SIMs and Edexcel systems, as well as experience in liaising with the local authority.


Responsibilities:


  • Efficiently manage and maintain student records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Input and update student information in the SIMs and Edexcel systems.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
  • Generate reports and analyse data to provide insights for decisionmaking.
  • Work closely with the local authority, fostering positive relationships and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Handle data queries and provide support to colleagues regarding datarelated matters.
  • Implement and maintain data protection policies and procedures to ensure data security and confidentiality.
  • Support in the creation and maintenance of data management documentation.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Data Administrator or similar role within an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in using SIMs and Edexcel systems is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in liaising with the local authority on datarelated matters.
  • Knowledge of educational data reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with other school administration systems and software.
