We are looking for a Security Officer to join us based at our client site in Feltham.

What is the purpose of the job-role - what is it intended to achieve - We have a new and exciting contract working as part of the Security Team and operating at the highest possible standards of safety and security at all times, you would be responsible for the safe and efficient checking of vehicle access and internal building access controls.

Security screening and searching of all goods and persons compliant with local CAA regulation and training.

Main Duties:

Receiving vehicles and processing and entering driver and vehicle details into a computer system or log.
Accurate completion of daily paperwork correctly.
Searching and sealing of vehicles and catering carts.
Gate and carpark access & egress control.
Checking of IDs seals paperwork of exiting vehicles
Operate the Airlock system in accordance with site method statements and safety processes.
The Safe and efficiently and securely use of authorised equipment.
Security screening of persons and items within controlled areas using an archway metal detector and hand held metal detector in the prevention of prohibited items using methods/equipment as per company method statements.
Duties such as checking IDs / answering telephones /access controlling including paperwork.
Move goods to/from the screening areas using authorised methods.
Carry out any other tasks as reasonably detailed by the Depot Manager/Supervisor
Xray duties in the prevention of prohibited items.
Product cart checks and security sealing.

Essential Criteria:

Deliver excellent customer service
Basic IT Skills
Previous experience within customer service and security

Desirable Criteria:

Valid Fire Marshal trained
Valid SIA Licence

Full time hours 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 42 hours per week, 12 hours per day.
