Position:
Receptionist (Permanent) - This role would suit a recent school leaver.


Location:
Bridge of Don, Aberdeen (5 days a week in Bridge of Don office)


Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (37.5 hours a week)


Position Overview:


Our Client is a rapidly growing global partner of choice in integrity, repair and inspection services to the offshore, renewables, telecoms and nuclear industries globally.

They are seeking a professional and reliable Temporary Receptionist to join their team. You will be the first point of contact for the organisation, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently.


Role and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients and employees in a warm and courteous manner.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Provide accurate information about the organisation and its services to callers and visitors.
  • Maintain a neat and organised reception area, ensuring it reflects a professional image.
  • Manage the flow of visitors and inform the relevant staff members of their arrival.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and conference rooms as required.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Update and maintain office records, including contact lists and visitor logs.
  • Handle inquiries and resolve or escalate issues as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the reception area.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security protocols.

Knowledge, experience and attributes required:


  • Education Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front of house role is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and pleasant demeanour with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using basic office equipment, such as telephones and photocopiers.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)


Experience:
