CMA Recruitment Group is working with a business near Hedge End who are now seeking a very capable Payroll Supervisor with end to end payroll experience on an interim basis.

This will be an ongoing assignment.


What will the Payroll Supervisor role involve?

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of timesheets and adjustments.
  • Ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and to the agreed schedules.
  • Review of the overall contractor payment files and authorisation for the transfer of funds.
  • Processing payroll adjustments relating to back dated rate changes or unit changes
  • Development and implementation of payroll procedures to create consistency and time efficiencies.
  • Supervision, training and coaching of the payroll and compliance administrator.
  • Providing support to the internal L&D function to aid company knowledge and imbed best practice.
  • Keeping aware of regulatory requirements and ensuring company compliance (e.g. IR35, AWR, KID).
  • Ensuring business activities are conducted in line with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Provision of information to external auditors or umbrella company audits as required.
  • Crossover with the credit controller with matters affecting both departments.
  • Strong end to end payroll experience with experience of manual calculations and knowledge of current legislation and statutory deductions
  • Possess excellent organisational skills.
  • Can prioritise and remain clam under pressure.
  • Can communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Possess a high attention to detail.
