    We are seeking to appoint a Chaplaincy Co-ordinator to lead and foster worship and spiritual guidance for our young people at different stages of their faith journey. This is a critically important appointment for the school. This is a 'whole-school' role involving all curriculum areas, some work in the local parishes, and with our Primary Schools.

    The successful candidate will be a practising Catholic with a sensitive understanding of young people, their families, and of our colleagues in the school. You will, ideally, be qualified to degree level, and have the ability to be a credible witness to a life of faith. You may have experience working with young people in a school or other environment.

    St Benedict's School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students. All applicants are subject to the requirements of the Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education guidelines. This will include checks with past employers and the need for the successful applicant to hold or undergo a suitable enhanced DBS disclosure. This is a full time post 37 hours per week term time only (46.6 weeks).
