    Salary: £56,000
    (salary pending pay award and subject to pending job evaluation)


    A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Business, Creative and Enterprise faculty and our Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment faculty for an exceptional Director to lead the team.     We are seeking to appoint an experienced leader who brings an inclusive, collaborative approach and can evidence values-based leadership. You will have a strong track record in curriculum delivery in a relevant discipline, and be able to influence and persuade others. You will provide leadership and motivational management to specialist teams; including learning and skills managers, ensuring optimal performance and student success through efficient and effective resourcing, delivery, guidance and support.

    As a member of the senior leadership team, you will have demonstrable ability to operate at a senior level of the college, contributing to institutional direction, as well as leading and strategically collaborating positive internal and external stakeholder engagement at all levels.

    This is a key role and requires an individual who can provide strategic, creative and responsive leadership to develop an inclusive, high quality and innovative curriculum portfolio within aligned areas and for the wider college. Working with other senior colleagues, benefitting the wider economy and community as a whole, to deliver an innovative and dynamic curriculum portfolio and delivering the best possible learning experience and a culture in which staff can thrive, both professionally and personally.

    Candidates should also be qualified to SCQF Level 9, with evidence of continuous professional development, preferably with a teaching qualification and/or management qualification.

    Those shortlisted for interview will be required to deliver a presentation and complete a task in addition to the competency based interview.
