    Description
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Teacher to join our team.

    As a Support Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing additional assistance and guidance to students who require extra support to reach their full potential.

    Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, or other additional needs, adapting teaching methods and resources to meet their individual needs and promote their engagement and progress.

    Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons across the curriculum, providing support to individual students and small groups as directed.

    Support students with their personal and social development, and promote positive behavior and attitudes towards learning, through the implementation of effective behavior management strategies and the modeling of positive behaviors.

    Collaborate with colleagues, including teachers, specialists, and support staff, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for students with additional needs, and monitor and track their progress and attainment.

    Participate in professional development opportunities and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students' learning and development.

    Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably as a support teacher, teaching assistant, or classroom support worker.

    Passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development, and a commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

    Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students' learning and development.
