About the Role

Are you positive, flexible, innovative and supportive? Would you like to work in a developing team assisting in providing services and activities for the benefit of our residents? Reigate and Banstead are seeking to appoint a Community Centre Support Officer to support the Boroughs three Community Centres.


This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Centre Team as a Community Centre Business Support Officer, this is a varied role working within a busy team.

You will be responsible for general business support tasks, assisting with the marketing and promotion of the centres and providing on-site operational support to the three centres.

The postholder will be required to travel to each centre on regular basis.


About the person:

With a proven track record of administrative work, including operating and maintaining databases, finance systems and using a range of IT packages and software, you'll also need to demonstrate knowledge and experience of:

  • Being a flexible and effective team member, supporting the service and its objectives by taking a flexible approach to working across the team and places of work.
  • You will have experience of being well organised working in a busy environment.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You will be highly motivated and confident working with a range of partners, volunteers, residents and organisations.
  • You will exhibit behaviours focused on service improvement projects, coordinating with others, being creative in a customer focused service area.
