As a Quality Manager you take pride inensuring that the products we manufacture are not only safe andlegal but also meet or exceed all specifications. You manage atechnical quality team to oversee all aspects of Food Safetycompliance for the site ensuring full compliance to internal andexternal product specifications managing all aspects of customercomplaints for the site and for the management of the site qualityteam as well.

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managingthe day to day activities of the QA team onsite.
• Maintaining and auditing the QualityManagement System.
• Ensuring the HACCP system isadhered to and managing site audit schedules to ensure compliance.Liaising with customers on quality issues and coordinating customervisits / audits.
• Proactively communicatinginformation to the business on technicalperformance.
• Managing training of the QA teamand Technical training of sitecolleagues.
• Carrying out regular internalaudits to ensure all systems and standards are inplace.
• Conduct root cause analysis whennecessary.
• Carry out sampling quality testingpositive release of finished goods and control movement of stock& notify supervisor of any quality or food/feedissues.
• Attend customer sites audits andagree/amend anyissues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Detailedunderstanding of Food and Environmental Legislation is amust.
• Experience with Quality Control checksand Food Safety compliance on site.
• Knowledgeof HACCP TACCP and VACCP standards.
• Site Auditsexperience and ensuring all required documentation is fully updatedand available for each audit inadvance.
• Preferably degree related to FoodQuality manufactory (Biology ChemistryBiochemistry)
