We have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher to join us at Saxmundham Primary School. This is a new role to support the learning and pastoral needs of our pupils as well as some class teaching (0.4
Saxmundham is a 315 place school with a new Nursery added in 2022. We operate mixed year group classes in most years and serve the immediate community with many children walking to school. We are looking for someone to work closely with the school and Trust leadership teams to secure the best practices and contribute to the school's continuous improvement journey. Currently judged by Ofsted as Good, the school has implemented a number of new systems and schemes designed to secure high standards as well as ensure that the wider needs of our school community are met.
You will work to ensure that these are fully and effectively implemented as well as respond to the day to day needs of the children and organisation as well as being a positive and welcoming force in the school.
