    Description
    This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to be an integral part of our Metering team.

    Working at our Dimlington Gas Terminal you will be responsible for maintenance, repair and operational testing of all trade (Metering) related equipment and systems to ensure efficient, reliable and safe standards on all installations.

    The successful candidate will work with the Metering Support Engineer and Tech Op team members to obtain safe working conditions in day-to-day operations, with special emphasis on maintenance tasks and environmental activities.

    This role operates on a regular shift pattern of one week on and one week off, 12-hour shifts.


    Key Responsibilities Include:
    n


    • Calibration and recertification of metering equipment as per company, partner and OGA guidelinesn
    • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on metering equipmentn
    • Fault find on field instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, and DP transmittersn
    • Monitor and track calibration schedulesn
    • Management of test equipment recertificationn
    • Management of field equipment certificationn
    • Ensure metering document (drawings) update/controln
    • Maintain audit trail for metering systemsn
    • Calibration and maintenance of online gas chromatographsn
    • Sampling of produced fluidsn
    • Review and processing of sample analysis reportsn
    • Coordination of spares & repairsn
    • Provide technical input for projects

    Key Requirements Include:

    • Familiar with metering systems such as orifice plates, USMs and Coriolis metersn
    • Capable of carrying out verification, calibration & maintenance of oil and gas fiscal and allocation metering systemsn
    • Rectification of breakdowns and fault reportingn
    • Maintain appropriate certificate records and logbook entries to provide suitable audit trailn
    • Capable of following operating and maintenance proceduresn
    • Awareness of AGA and ISO codes of practicen
    • Experience with the operation of metering maintenance packagesn
    • Identify Hazards and perform Risk Assessments in accordance with PUKs Safe Systems Of Workn
    • Assist in writing dispensation and mismeasurement reportsn
    • Self-motivated with an attention to detail

    Qualifications /Skills / Experience:
    n


    • HNC/HND in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience/qualificationsn
    • Compression Fittings and Small-Bore Tubing – desired but not essentialn
    • Piping Joint Integrity - MJI10 Training & Piping Joint Integrity - Final Assessment TMJI10 -desired but not essentialn
    • CompEX - desired but not essential
