    Job Description

    WCC Group is a growing Civils, specialist rope access and confined space company, operating in Helensburgh on the West Coast of Scotland. Our Civils team carry out the following types of work:

    Groundwork; drainage and ducting, concrete, excavations, minor demolitions, facility maintenance, etc

    Security fencing works; fence panel repairs, installations, razorwire repairs etc.

    Ground maintenance; scrub and vegetation clearance, tree removal, culvert/drainage clearing, chemical spraying.

    WCC group are seeking new team members to join our civils team as general/semi-skilled operatives as we are experiencing rapid growth within this area of our operations. Your role will vary day-to-day.

    Working away from home may occasionally be required, expenses are paid for when working away.

    Responsibilities

    • Carry out work promptly and safely.
    • Comply with company health, safety and environmental standards.
    • Ensure that all incidents and near misses are reported.
    • Assist the skilled technicians with general labouring duties & site preparation.
    • Movement of machinery and materials/ Use of hand and power tools.

    Qualifications

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

    Required

    • Must already hold, or be willing to undergo the Security Clearance, (SC), process.
    • Abrasive Wheel training.
    • CSCS/ or NPORS card.

    Desired

    • Full clean driving licence.

    On-the-job training will be provided to ensure you have the necessary skills to undertake your duties safely.

    Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16: hours per week. Paid overtime is available.

    Salary: £ £14.50 per hour.

    Holidays: 28 days per annum.

    Position: Full-time, permanent.
