- Assume a leadership role in financial operations, encompassing strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to charity account regulations and maintain robust financial controls.
- Provide valuable insights to senior management, guiding financial decision-making processes.
- Oversee day-to-day finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Offer mentorship and performance management to the Finance Officer.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive efficiency and foster continuous improvement within the finance team.
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably within a similar-sized organization.
- Familiarity with charity account regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- They have demonstrated leadership skills, including experience in team management and development.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE/3 days)
- Hybrid Working: 1 day at home, 2 days in the office
