We are seeking a PR & Media Executive to work across all of our Anglian Water business units to proactively uncover stories of interest to customers and stakeholders and identify opportunities to tell those stories across a variety of channels.

Using your previous experience of gathering different types of multimedia content, you'll identify opportunities to generate positive media coverage for AW and its partner organisations.


As an active member of the press office, dealing with proactive and reactive media enquiries, you'll also be inquisitive and will work across all of Anglian Water's business units to proactively discover the right responses to accurately, clearly and confidently communicate Anglian Water's position to the media, and have the opportunity to act as a spokesperson for the business.


You might be a graduate, looking to make your first move into the world of PR, or have some industry experience already under your belt.

In either case, you will be a self-starter, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be able to be a source of intelligence and advice on communications.

Day to day you'll be dealing with external media contacts and supporting the wider team in managing the reputation of the business.

You'll also provide advice to other areas of the business on good communications practice, supporting the wider work of the Communications Team.
