Quality Inspector / Technician

Location:
Milton Keynes


Hours: 39 hours per week.

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.15pm
Friday 7.30am - 12pm

Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate:
Up to £20 per hour (dependent on experience)


We're currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector / Technician for a leading business within the Engineering industry both in the UK and Internationally.

Manufacturing highly engineered components and systems for a wide variety of global markets, theirproducts can be found in and around anything that moves.


They're currently looking to recruit a Quality Inspector / Technician to join their team, on a full-time, temporary basis, with permanent opportunities available.

This role is working Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.15pm and Friday 7.30am - 12pm.


As the Quality Inspector / Technician you will be responsible for Quality of components in Goods-in and Goods-out as well as ensuring all parts are correct and to the quality standard expected.


The Quality Inspector / Technician role:

  • Responsible for Goods-In/Out including Quality and accuracy,
  • Responsible for quality checks through visual and manual checks
  • Following quality processes including control of nonconforming products,
  • Interpretation of mechanical drawings and able to work to ISO standards,
  • Some responsibility of quality areas according to 5S method,
  • Supporting with audits and audit preparation where requires,
  • Accurate completion of any relevant quality documentation.

The ideal Quality Inspector / Technician:

  • You must have experience working as a Quality Inspector or similar, within a manufacturing or engineering environment,
  • Knowledge and experience using handheld measuring equipment such as Verniers, callipers and micrometres,
  • Be able to read and interpret technical drawings,
  • You will be comfortable taking ownership of your duties and area,
  • You will be computer literate, and fully converse with Microsoft packages.
