- Provide support to classroom teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
- Lead small group activities and interventions to support student learning and development.
- Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers where necessary.
- Establish positive relationships with students, promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the implementation of behavior management strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to promote the welfare and academic success of students.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA within a school setting.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning, with the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and classrooms.
- Knowledge of relevant curriculum frameworks and educational best practices.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo the process.
