Our exclusive client, a family owned, fast growing and dynamic business is looking to recruit a Financial Controller due to continued growth.

The successful candidate will be reporting into the Finance Director and directly managing a small team of 3.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Management/Financial Accountant looking to take a step up and help support the businesses ambitious and exciting plans.

The business currently operates in the UK but is looking to expand into Europe and they have 25% growth forecasted year on year.

The role is extremely varied but some of the main duties are below:

Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Lead on key external relationships with key stakeholders, including external audit, payment processors and key suppliers
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control processes into business operations
Develop and implement cash strategies for managing third party funds
Set up corporate structure for foreign growth strategies
Review financial systems and implement changes required for growth
Manage internal controls of the business documenting the risks and associated policies

Person Specification:
Qualified accountant
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights
High attention to detail
