    Our client is a rapidly growing specialist procurement and consultancy firm dedicated to delivering strategic procurement solutions across diverse industries.

    They are currently in search of an experienced Procurement Consultant to oversee procurement activities, provide strategic direction, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

    The Procurement Consultant will join their dynamic Southeast team to support a Rail client.

    The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, have a minimum of 3 years of post-university experience, be working towards or possess an MCIPS qualification, and demonstrate a strong background in UCR regulated procurements within the construction industry.

    Manage end-to-end procurement processes, from planning and sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier management.


    • Provide support to senior staff with day-to-day business management activities.
    • Offer guidance on UCR/PCR regulated procurements, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitoring performance and addressing issues as they arise.
    • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
    • Provide procurement administrative support to the team, ensuring adherence to declared processes and procedures.
    • Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends in procurement to drive continuous improvement.
    Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement/commercial roles post university education.


    • Experience in UCR/PCR regulated procurements within the construction, infrastructure, and/or engineering sector.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • Proficiency in procurement software/tools and MS Office suite.

    Salary:
    £70,000pa - £75,000pa + benefits package (Hybrid Working).

    Previous involvement in major infrastructure projects.


    • Familiarity with public sector procurement regulations and frameworks.
    • Experience in implementing sustainable procurement practices.
    • Knowledge of digital software packages such as MS Power Platform.
