Financial Controller**Salary**:£55,000 per annum

Location:
Welwyn Garden City**Contract**: Permanent

Hours:
Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (Hybrid working available)

COMPANY PROFILE
Our client based in Welwyn Garden City are looking for a Financial Controller. This is a vital role within the business.

You will have previous experience and be able to hit the ground running in order smooth running of the Finance Department

The purpose of the role will be to produce accurate financial reports and supporting the financial operations within the business.

You will also be involved in ad hoc projects when required.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Previous experience within a Financial Controller or Manager role
A high level of mathematical ability
Good technical accounting knowledge
Experience with developing and improving management reporting
Knowledge of VAT accounting and regulations
Proficient in Excel at a high level
Excellent communicator verbally and written
Knowledge of Sage
Ability to work well in a team

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversite of preparation of management accounts
Calculate and post management charges and intercompany interest recharges
Ensure monthly payroll is processed accurately
VAT and return preparation
Financial planning including budgets and forecasts.
Ensure reconciliation tasks are completed
Maintain the purchase order system
Liaison with budget holders
Produce adhoc analyses for senior management
