    The Post holder will be a clinical expert in the management and treatment of fractures and orthopaedic injuries

    Newton 3 is a 29 bedded acute trauma ward admitting from surgical assessment unit and the emergency department. We also have admissions from other acute NHS Trusts. We work closely with our elective sister ward and will soon be locating to the brand new hospital.

    To provide the ward with a professional focus for leadership and clinical excellence andwill take responsibility for the assessment of training and development needs for the staff especially within the orthopaedic setting.


    To take responsibility for the ongoing development needs of the service and patients upholding clinical standards and enabling staff to deliver high standards of care to act as a role model at all times.

    Relevant experience in Surgery
    Current NMC registration.
    Degree level qualification in health related subject
    Counselling Skills Certificate qualification
