NCSL is looking to recruit a Transport Manager to lead the company's transport function, managing nine authorised vehicles on an operator's licence, split between two operating centres along with up to 200 non-operator vehicles.

You will have responsibility for the company's Operator licence and vehicle compliance will be your top priority, advising operational teams on all transport matters and relevant legislation whilst ensuring a cost effective and efficient fleet.

Role details

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will effectively manage fleet contracts with third-party vehicle providers and take the lead of procurement of additional vehicles where required, with key tasks including monitoring and auditing processes regularly in line with Operator licence requirements and best practice.

Proactive in your approach, you will look to implement innovations and environmental improvements through trialling of new plant machinery and electric vehicles.
