Description

An excellent maternity cover opportunity has arisen at a globally-renowned scientific research organisation, for a Group Reporting Manager.

This role will be responsible for day-to-day management of the financial accounting team including month-end duties,statutory account preparation (including group consolidations) and leading on the annual audit.

It is a varied and interesting role within a high-performing and talented team, and will last a year and pay up to circa £90,000 per annum.

As the Group Reporting Manager your role will involve:

Leading a team of five qualified and part-qualified accountants including goal-setting and annual appraisals
Leading on group consolidations and statutory accounting at yearend
Working closely with the external auditors to ensure a successful audit
Reviewing and strengthening internal controls
Monthend reconciliations and signoff

The ideal Group Reporting Manager will:

Be a qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience
Have experience of leading on financial yearend duties within the charity sector
Have group consolidation experience
Be an inspiring manager, able to get the best out of their team
