    Our client is an independent research and insights consultancy, operating in the fascinating world of international development, researching and investigating fragile states, opinion on the ground and how current affairs and geopolitics affect every-day people and how governments communicate with them.

    We seek proactive, highly analytical individuals to help us serve the growing portfolio of clients. This is a superb opportunity for ambitious detailed-oriented people with strong interests in, cultural understanding of North Africa with some experience in preparing and delivering information and analytical research products.

    This position offers the opportunity to work on a top security project which integrates multiple data streams including opinion research, media monitoring, open-source insights and qualitative research. The work covers some of the most important contemporary issues (security, democracy, development, defense etc.); these roles will suit people with interests in international politics and backgrounds in research.

    Candidate will grow and develop their research and intelligence expertise and this position also features potential foreign travel. Candidates must be resident in the UK or have the right to live and work in the UK.

    Responsibilities include:

    Coordinating with multiple research suppliers, in a variety of countries, to collect quantitative and qualitative data.

    Managing multi-country reporting

    Design new research approaches and methodologies or update existing ones according to

    Compose and construct qualitative and quantitative data collection tools.

    Ensure relevant stakeholders and partners are engaged in research design and planning.

    Provide data analysis on primary and/or secondary data, ensuring that meaningful techniques are used to analyse the data collected.

    Report writing, QC and delivery of high-quality analytical products. - Keeping abreast of relevant news in regions of study.

    We will be looking for candidates with experience or academic background in

    High comfort level with quantitative data (using Excel/SPSS) and excellent writing skills are necessary.

    Excellent analytical skills, in particular with regards to quantitative data collection, management and analysis.

    Additional data analysis tools and software experienced (PowerBi, Media Monitoring tools, OSINT skills) are a plus.

    Preference given to candidates with Assessment, M&E, Analysis background; knowledge of the methods and techniques of monitoring and evaluation, including developing survey questionnaires, drawing a sample, and assessing the quality of resulting data is desirable.
