    About You

As a Qualified and Registered Occupational Therapist, you will manage a complex caseload providing assessments and advice around a wide range of assistive equipment, housing adaptations, and moving and handling.

Assessing adults in line with The Care Act 2014 you will support a person's well-being by delivering on interventions that maximise their strengths and enable the person to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible and to help reduce their needs around care.

    About Us

Our Equipment, Adaptation and Sensory Team is a key and valued service within the Adult Social Care Operating Model.

The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Moving and Handling Coordinators, Equipment and Adaptation Officers, Rehabilitation Officers Visual Impairment, triage and admin support and a Handypersons Service.

Together we provide the residents of Stockport with appropriate assistive equipment, adaptations, advice and information and training according to their needs.
