    Kings House is a CQC registered care home, located in Westbourne.

    We support adults with mental health needs with the aim of promoting recovery and independence. Our aim is to promote recovery to enable people to achieve their goals and aspirations to lead meaningful and independent lives.

    Kings House is looking for an enthusiastic cook to join our friendly team to work in our residential care home. Monday to Friday, working hours can be flexible.

    You will be expected to prepare and cook nutritious meals to a high quality ensuring cultural and dietary needs are met.

    Assist with ordering/ purchasing of foods and compiling menus.

    In addition to this adhere to current safer food regulations which will involve carrying out health and safety checks and completing documentation. You will be working alone and will be responsible for leaving the kitchen clean and tidy.

    Full training, induction, and uniform provided.

    The role is 20 hours per week but we can consider 16 hours per week.

    Times can be flexible to accommodate any persons with childcare arrangements, personal commitments or use of public transport.
